One of the neatest things about moving to Norfolk is the Art Scene that is starting to pop up downtown. Alchemy NFK is at the center of a lot of the growth and they have been continually doing fun things to bring people downtown to interact with the arts.

Next Friday (January 30th) they are hosting a little one-night pop up exhibition at a building on Granby street that was recently purchased and gutted by my husband’s boss. It’ll be a little bit creepy, a little bit weird and it should be a whole lot of fun.

Also, I have a new piece in the show and I’m pretty excited about how it turned out. What’s even cooler is if all goes as planned it should be sporting a spiffy frame by the uber-talented Randy of Nest Home. Kind of excited about that.

If you happen to follow me on Instagram you may have seen a little peek of the piece but you’ll have to come to the show to see the whole thing. Just kidding, I’ll post a full shot after the show!
